A short description and history of this outstanding Homebrew Club

Club Wort, a 40+ member homebrew club, is located in the northwest suburbs (Palatine, IL) of the Windy City (Chicago, IL). We dedicate ourselves to the enhancement of the brewing process, the moderate consumption of fine ales and lagers, and the enlightenment of the masses.

Club Wort serves as both a social club and an activity center. Among our many events, we have annual pub crawls, an annual picnic, club brew-ins, and monthly meetings.

As for membership, dues are $20 per year, which entitles each member to the monthly newsletter, "Worts Happening," discounts on club events, and discounts at several homebrew supply shops. Our members run the gamut from new brewers to experienced all grain brewers. We even have one professional brewer in our ranks.

"CLUB WORT" (Palatine, IL) meets on the second Tuesday of every month (7:30pm) at
Durty Nellie's West Irish Pub
